Goodbye Field Hello Animal Kingdom

After the 13-3 game with Diamond Rats (Rattlers love rats...), the Reiley's and the Ford's ran to Animal Kingdom to maximize the day/night...Expedition Everest is the best ride so far! First ones to leave the field and closed Animal Kingdom...

Rattler Moms in Florida

The Moms bowed out of Blizzard Beach. Gee - is there a picture of the kids in the blog on Blizzard Beach? Oh no....So yes, they've been there, but no blog posts on it because of who they came with...The Dads lost the kids 3 minutes after arriving there! Shhhhhhhh....They found them eventually!

Rancho Rattlers Mercy the Dirt Rats from Albany New York yesterday 6/28 in a dominant performance 13 - 3... Vinny hits a grand slam and knocks in a few more for good luck. Kyle May pitched an awesome 3 innings and Vinny closed out the forth.

Two more games on the plate today... Just getting ready to leave, will post the results later. Record so far is just 1 and 2, should be 2 and 1...

The kids looked like the jumped into a pool... Must have rained an inch in 20 minutes...

The Rattlers lose their first game 12 - 3 to the 643 DP Jaguars out of Georgia. The kids were in 96+ heat with extremely high humidity. The Georgia team was used to that weather and they were much more ready to play out of the gate. If this game would have been played at Steed. The results would have been much different...

The second game was against the Tampa Bay Bulls and we were winning 13 - 9 when a torrential downpour along with thunder and lightning came down in the top of the 6th and stopped our game. Unfortunately AAU made a terrible decision for our team and said we'd have to revert to the previous inning were we were losing 8 - 9 and we'd have to lose the game. All other teams that were delayed that day because of the rain were allowed to come back the next morning to finish their games because they were only in the 2nd and 3rd innings. The umpires were 1.5 hours late to arrive at our game so unfortuntely we were the only team in that time slot that didn't finish.
